Contents Page
The layout of the contents page is simplistic and refined. It has a subtle black to white gradient as the back ground meaning that the main picture was a studio shot.
The headline across the top simply says contents in a bold white font with a shadow to make it appear 3D.
Underneath is a banner highlighted with a thin red line on top of and underneath. The banner displays the month and year of the issue on the right hand side and the number of the issue on the right hand side.
On the left hand side going from three quarters of the way up to the bottom is a white box with the most desirable articles of the magazine on. The names of the most well known artists or artists that are exclusive to that copy are in a larger font and are dark red as opposed to the dark grey that the descriptions are in.
At the bottom of this box is another box layered on top with the pull line which is a quote from the man in the picture in a much larger font as to engage the viewer and underneath is the page number that the article is on.
In the centre of the contents page is Lou Reed dressed in all black looking down; this implies that he has been posed.

The layout of the Contents page for this magazine is bold and colourful with a large selection of colours involved.
On the top right it features the staple "MOJO" logo as the headline and underneath it has a list of some of the pages and what they contain. At select intervals going down the page it has different sections such as "regulars," "what goes on!" and MOJO filter." it appears that the page numbers are not in number order but instead are classified into what they deem to be the most desirable sections for the ready. This could be because this is a fairly large magazine so it would be difficult to find a specific section if it were in number order.

On the left hand half of the page there are various pictures of people who are featured in the magazine, this enables the reader to find a particular artist easier and also advertises the more well known musicians.
Across the bottom they have an editorial which contains a have a head shot of the contributors to this months magazine and a small description on their right.
